In her Form of Life Clare called her sisters to mirror the love of Christ for all people.  She wrote:

Let them (the sisters) be always eager to preserve among themselves the unity of mutual love which is the bond of perfection (FLCl 10:7).

Clare sought to build communities where mutual love shaped the relationships of the sisters.  In this way, they became tangible signs of the Spirit of God working among them.

Inspired by the example of Clare and the early community we strive to reflect this same love to the world by our life together.

We seek to provide for our material needs through clerical work, sewing and selling individually designed cards.  As daughters of Clare and Francis we also rely on the Providence of God coming to us through the donations of many people to meet the needs we cannot supply by our own labor.
