As a community, we join together for our main meal at noon. For special celebrations like our Easter dinner, we decorate the dining room (with tableclothes, placemats, napkins, etc. made by sisters in the sewing room), and we enjoy a family-style meal.
Most days, however, are simple meals with modest decorations. When we gather for our main meal, we have lively conversation and sharing. Sisters take turns preparing the main meal, which is simple but nourishing. Most of our food is provided by our generous benefactors.
