Recreation Takes Many Forms in Community Life

Community Celebrations

In addition to Liturgical Celebrations (Easter, Christmas, Feast of St. Clare, Feast of St. Francis, etc.), we celebrate each sister's birthday and feast day with a special noon meal and entertainment in the evening.

Secular Holidays

We have cookouts on our patio on the 4th of July, Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Games

On Sundays, you can often find sisters playing cards or dominos in the Community Room. We recently purchased a badminton and volleyball set for some outdoor fun when the weather permits.

Hobbies

When time allows, we have a variety of personal hobbies: crocheting, cross-stitching, baking, and playing musical instruments.
